FORGE Studio terms of use
Last updated 11 October 2026
FORGE Studio is licensed, not sold. These terms apply when you install or use Studio, the virtual FC, and the firmware we provide for the IFC 1.3.
1. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Studio on up to 2 computers signed in with your account at the same time.
2. Plans
- Launch offer: Studio is free for every account until the end of 31 December 2026 (India time).
- Trial: 14 days from your first Studio sign-in, once per account and once per computer; an account that signed in during the launch offer gets only the part of its 14 days that reaches past the offer.
- Prices: Rs 3,000 a month or Rs 30,000 a year, plus GST, for everyone; Rs 199 a month or Rs 1,999 a year, GST included, for verified students (for learning and student projects; valid 12 months, then you verify again).
- FC time: 2 months for each IFC 1.3 on your account, given once per board, starting the first time it is connected to Studio; a board passed on carries the time left on it.
- Paid time: a month is 30 days and a year 365, starting when your current time ends.
3. What needs an active plan, and what never locks
Simulation on your computer, the virtual FC, simulation on the board started from Studio, and building and uploading FORGE programs need an active plan.
Opening Studio, viewing and saving your own work, connecting and flying your own FC, setup, parameters, tuning, Analyse, reports, exports and firmware updates for your FC never lock. Programs already on your FC keep running.
4. Offline use
Studio keeps a signed licence on your computer and works offline for up to 14 days after it last checked your plan, but never past the end of your plan.
5. What you may not do
You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, extract or redistribute Studio, the FC firmware, licence files or signed packages, or try to get around the plan checks. Firmware is licensed for use on the FC it was activated for.
6. Your work
Your programs, vehicles and flight recordings belong to you. They stay on your computer unless you choose to send them to someone.
7. Simulation and safety
The virtual FC and simulation help you test ideas; they do not guarantee how a real drone will fly. Flight safety is the pilot's responsibility. Always test with the propellers off first.
8. Updates and ending
We offer updates through Studio; each is signed and checked before it installs. We may end the licence of an account that breaks these terms. Liability is limited as in the terms of sale, and the laws of India apply.
