This notice explains how UVIRA Aerospace, as the data fiduciary, handles your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). The rules under the Act come into force in phases; our lawyer confirms what applies at launch.
1. What we collect
- Your account: name, e-mail, mobile number (optional) and a scrambled form of your password.
- Orders: delivery and billing addresses, GSTIN and business name if you give them, order and payment references. Never your card number.
- Students: your college e-mail, or a photo of your student ID.
- Studio: an identifier of each signed-in computer (stored scrambled), sign-in times, approximate place and plan checks. While Studio is open and signed in, it counts the minutes it is open each day, also offline, and when online it tells us every 10 minutes that it is in use, with those daily minutes, how many minutes a day the virtual flight controller ran on that computer, its version and the kind of computer (for example Windows 11). We never collect your programs, flight recordings, files, where you fly or what you do on the screen.
- Support: the messages you send us.
Your flight recordings stay on your computer unless you send them to us.
When you visit this website, we count visits anonymously on our own server: which pages are opened, how far they are scrolled, which buttons are pressed, how long a page stays open and which website you came from. We use no cookies for this and keep no IP addresses, and we count nothing when your browser asks sites not to track you (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control).
2. Why
To deliver your order and issue GST invoices, to run your Studio plan and keep accounts safe, to count how many people use Studio and for how long (counts only, to plan our products), to check student status, to answer you, and to meet our legal duties (for example, keeping tax records).
3. Your consent
We ask for your consent when you create an account. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; we then close your account, except for records the law makes us keep.
4. Who receives it
Only the services we need to serve you: the payment gateway, the courier partner, the e-mail and SMS providers, and our hosting provider. Our visitor statistics contain no personal data, and the site uses essential cookies only (sign-in, cart, security).
5. Where and how long
- Stored in India.
- Invoices and order records: at least 72 months, as GST law requires.
- Student ID photos: until the review is done, plus 30 days; only the decision and its date are kept.
- Inactive accounts: deleted after a period stated before launch.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, raise a grievance, and nominate someone to act for you. Write to support@uvira.in or to our grievance officer.
7. Children
Students under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian to create an account.
8. Breaches
If a breach affects your data, we tell you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.
